The West Central School Board members are looking to make improvements to the corporation’s bus barn, according to Superintendent Dan Zylstra.
“We would like to provide some insulation in it and also heat it,” Zylstra explained. “Some of the regular bus maintenance is now being done here on site and right now it lacks basic heat. So, we want to shore that up.”
In other facility updates, Zylstra said the former corporation central office in downtown Francesville has a new occupant.
“We have a renter for that so that property is being leased now and we’re very pleased that it can provide us with a little extra income.”
The Central Office has since moved to the West Central Middle/High School.
