Knox residents with natural Christmas trees can once again place them outside for disposal. The city will be picking them up New Year’s Eve, according to Mayor Dennis Estok.
“You can put them on the curbside or in the alley, wherever you’re comfortable,” Estok explained during last week’s city council meeting. “Normally, we do pick up limbs and all that on Thursdays, so that’s when you need to put it out.”
Meanwhile, Street Superintendent Jeff Borg told the board of works last week that leaf pickup wrapped up December 10.
