More information has been released in a death investigation that began Friday morning near LaPorte.
Indiana Conservation Officers say the victim was identified as 63-year-old Scott M. Moyer of LaPorte.
Indiana Conservation Officer Divers were able to recover Moyer’s body from a vehicle found submerged in Tamarack Lake near LaPorte Friday morning. The vehicle was discovered in the Kingsbury Fish and Wildlife area by property personnel, according to the report.
The incident remains under investigation. The official cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy.
