The West Central School Board members took action last week to approve Teacher Appreciation Grants.
Superintendent Dan Zylstra said the money will distributed soon.
“Teachers rated effective will get $420 and teachers rated highly effective will get $550,” explained Zylstra. “That is money that comes from the state for said purposes so we are happy to get that out to our teachers.”
Zylstra added that the same stipend will be distributed to counselors and administrators.
