There were 2,548 new COVID-19 cases in the state in Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.
Marshall County had eight new COVID-19 cases for a new overall total of 4,949, Starke County had seven new COVID-19 cases for a new overall total of 1,720, and Pulaski County had no new cases. The total number of COVID-19 cases in Pulaski County remains at 951.
A total of 8,966 people in the state have died from COVID-19, an increase of 30 from Sunday’s report. There were no new deaths reported in the tri-county area.
The coronavirus dashboard for schools on the state’s coronavirus website indicated that North Judson-San Pierre High School and Oregon-Davis Elementary School had less than five new student and staff COVID-19 cases reported last week. Oregon-Davis Junior/Senior High School, Eastern Pulaski Elementary School and West Central High School reported less than five new student COVID-19 cases.
