An “advisory” level travel advisory is in place in Marshall County as road conditions will be hazardous Saturday night and through the day Sunday.
The “advisory” level is the lowest level of local travel advisory and means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation. Hazardous driving conditions will lead to an increase in the number of slide-offs and accidents
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from 7 p.m. Saturday to 7 p.m. Sunday. Heavy snow is likely across all of Marshall County with accumulations of five to nine inches. Some areas south of U.S. 30 may receive nine inches of snow or more.
