The Medaryville Town Council members held a special meeting Wednesday where they put the final touches on some items to end 2020.
Clerk-Treasurer Stacy Conley said the town council members approved a contract with Midwest Contract Operations for an annual agreement for wastewater and water treatment in town. They also approved a donation of $1,000 to Community Foundation of Pulaski County to help them in a fundraising campaign.
The transfer of $12,527.08 was approved to the Rainy Day Fund where over $115,000 now sits in that line item in the budget.
Additionally, the cost of the replacement of a flow meter at a lift station was approved at $1,746 plus shipping.
New council members Art Conley and Joe Jackson, Jr. were sworn into office last week and will join re-elected councilwoman Suzanna Wilcoxon at their first meeting of 2021 on January 21. Wilcoxon was also sworn into office last week.
