The North Judson Town Council will meet tonight where they are expected to make appointments to several boards and commissions.
During a special meeting last week, it was determined that Town Council Member Jane Ellen Felchuk will serve as the town’s representative on the KIRPC Board and James Young will serve as the town’s representative on the Starke County Economic Development Foundation Board.
The council members will also make appointments to the Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, Unsafe Building Authority, Park Board, School Board, Library Board, and the Railroad Advisory Committee.
The board will reorganize and make liaison appointments, along with receiving updates from department head on activities. Updates will be given from Commonwealth Engineers on the Combined Sewer Overflow/Wastewater Treatment Improvement projects, and the council members will review a land survey and re-plat quotes concerning the Highland Cemetery Development.
The town council will meet at 6:30 p.m. CT tonight at the North Judson Town Hall at 310 Lane Street.
