A pedestrian was injured, after being hit by a pickup truck in North Judson Thursday evening. The incident happened around 5:30 in the area of State Road 10 near CVS, according to Starke County dispatchers.
Town Marshal Kelly Fisher says the pedestrian was flown to a trauma center. The driver of the pickup was uninjured.
In a Facebook post, North Judson-Wayne Township Firefighters say they helped care for the patient until the ambulance arrived. A landing site was set up for Lutheran Air at North Judson-San Pierre High School.
