North Judson-San Pierre’s Enrollment Up by Two Students

North Judson-San Pierre is reporting a very slight increase in enrollment.

The February average daily membership count showed that N.J.-S.P. is up by about two students, according to information presented by Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin during Tuesday’s school board meeting.

She believes the staff-to-student ratio is appropriate, and there won’t be a need for a reduction in force at this point. Zupin says that if the school corporation ends up with any excess staff next year, they’ll be used to address any learning gaps caused by the COVID-19 closures.

The number of students a school corporation has determines how much Education Fund money it gets from the state.
