Oregon-Davis School Board Discusses Change in Regular Meeting Date, Second Opinion on HVAC Project

The Oregon-Davis School Board members will be meeting on a different day to better work around conflicts of incoming board members.

Superintendent Bill Bennett said some board members attend other meetings in the county and would like to have the third Monday of the month free to be able to participate in those discussions.

Beginning with the March meeting, the Oregon-Davis School Board will meet on the fourth Monday of the month at 6 p.m. CT in the administration office.

In addition to that discussion, Bennett said the board members continue to seek a second opinion on the HVAC project at the corporation.  He said the before they move forward, the information previously presented concerning the project will be reviewed so the board members are comfortable with all aspects of the project before they make any further decisions.  Millies Engineering Group was recommended to conduct that second review and the board approved that recommendation.
