Pulaski County Records Another COVID-19 Death

Another person in Pulaski County has died of COVID-19, pushing the total number of deaths there to 41.  Monday’s update from the Indiana Department of Health showed that resident was one of 19 additional people in the state who died of COVID-19 from December 13 to February 14. 

Another 817 people in the state have tested positive with COVID-19 including three people in Marshall County, four people in Starke County and two people in Pulaski County.  Marshall County now has 5,351 cases since March of last year, Starke County has 1,843 cases and Pulaski County has 1,042 overall cases. 

The Indiana Department of Health also updated the school’s coronavirus dashboard from information collected last week.  There were 819 new student cases from December 15 to February 12, 136 new positive teacher COVID-19 cases from December 15 to February 12 and 155 new positive staff cases in the state from December 10 to February 12. 

Oregon-Davis Junior Senior High School, Eastern Pulaski Elementary School, West Central Middle School, and Culver Academies reported less than five new student positive COVID-19 cases.   Eastern Pulaski Elementary School had less than five new staff cases, and Winamac Middle School had less than five new teacher cases.
