Fifty-five North Judson-San Pierre teachers and staff members took advantage of an on-site COVID-19 vaccination clinic Monday. Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin said during Tuesday’s school board meeting that she was happy with the turnout.
“HealthLinc provided that service, and they will come back on April 16 to do the second dose for us,” she said. “We’re very thankful for them.”
North Judson-San Pierre Classroom Teachers Association President Eric Gappa said staff members really appreciated the on-site vaccinations and that HealthLinc’s process was seamless and fast. Zupin noted that the service will also be provided to other area schools.
She added that COVID-19 cases remain low at N.J.-S.P., about one or two per week on average.
