Indiana Conservation Officers and the La Porte County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a boating accident Sunday afternoon that reportedly resulted in the death of two men.
Indiana Conservation Officers say they received a report of two individuals who were fishing and had fallen into a private body of water near US 421 and Interstate 94. Indiana Conservation Officers were assisted at the scene by the La Porte County Sheriff’s Office, La Porte County Sheriff’s Office Dive Team, and the La Porte County Coroner’s Office.
