Eastern Pulaski Enrollment Drops by Two Students

Enrollment is holding steady at the Eastern Pulaski Community School Corporation.

Superintendent Dara Chezem told the school board last week that the February count showed a decrease of only two students from September, despite five midterm graduations. “This is much better than last year’s decreased enrollment of 40 students at this same time,” she said.

That brings Eastern Pulaski’s enrollment down to 1,122 students. The number of students attending a school corporation on count day helps determine how much Education Fund money it gets from the state.
