Firefighters from the North Judson-Wayne Township Fire Department were called to three grass and woods fires Saturday.
They assisted LaCrosse and other fire departments to tend to a large grass and woods fire there. While at the scene, they were called to help Pulaski County firefighters battle a field/woods fire.
Later in the afternoon, North Judson-Wayne Township firefighters were called to a barn fire near North Judson.
Several brush, engine and tanker trucks in the fleet were used to help fight fires Saturday.
Other fires were reported in the Northern Indiana area as dry conditions are fueling fires.
