The Starke County Youth Club has gotten a $1,000 boost. The Youth Club was the recipient of this month’s pop-up grant from the Starke County Community Foundation.
Each month this year, the community foundation is presenting a surprise grant to a local nonprofit group, in celebration of its 25th anniversary. Outgoing community foundation director of development Jessica Martinović says they hope the grant will help the Youth Club continue to support families with young children.
A surprise check presentation took place last week.
