The Winamac Town Council will discuss the town’s finances this afternoon. A work session with accounting firm Baker Tilly is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. EDT in the Winamac Municipal Utilities Complex.
A quarterly report provided by Baker Tilly earlier this month showed no red flags in the town’s core funds and utility finances. Cash reserves increased for the most part, but COVID-19’s full impact on income tax revenues isn’t expected to be seen until 2022.
