A free mobile COVID-19 vaccination clinic hosted by the Indiana Department of Health will be open in La Porte April 13-17 at Rural King, 1340 State Road 2 West.
The mobile clinic will be open to residents age 16 and older from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. CT during this time. Registration is encouraged by visiting ourshot.in.gov or by calling 211. Walk-ins will be accepted while COVID-19 vaccine supplies last. Proof of age will be required at the clinic. The vaccine is free, but insurance will be requested as an administration fee may be charged.
This mobile clinic will offer the free Pfizer vaccine. An appointment for the second dose of the vaccine will be scheduled when the first dose is administered.
Individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the single Johnson & Johnson vaccine or after the two-dose administration of Moderna and Pfizer vaccines.
