North Judson’s spring cleanup event was a success, according to Town Marshal Kelly Fisher. She told the town council Monday that about 200 letters were sent before the event to homes that police believed needed attention. Out of those, she said she wrote six tickets Monday for homes that still didn’t comply.
But one resident complained Monday that the warning letter was a bit vague, noting that it didn’t specify what was in violation but instead listed eight categories of violations that might exist. One specific question was how exactly the town would define “unsightly.”
