A mobile home sustained damage in an early Sunday morning fire in Hamlet.
Firefighters from the Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Department were called to 504 N. Starke Street Lot 30 at about 7:30 a.m. CT Sunday where fire crews were able to contain the fire to the living room, although the entire structure suffered smoke damage, according to Fire Chief Brad Hazelton.
No injuries were reported. The blaze was extinguished in under a half hour.
The cause of the fire has not been determined. The Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office will assist in an investigation.
The Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Knox-Center Township Fire Department, Hamlet Police Department and Starke County EMS.
