Knox residents have a chance to weigh in on the demolition of the former Moose Lodge at 115 North Main Street. The city is seeking almost $138,000 in Blight Clearance funding through the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs.
Mayor Dennis Estok notes in a press release that a big part of the application process is public input. The city has put together a four-question survey to gauge residents’ support for the demolition and ask what they’d like to see there in the future.
You can fill out the survey online or get a paper copy at Knox City Hall. Responses are due by June 15.
