N.J.-S.P. School Board to Consider TRECS, Lunch Prices, High School Handbook Tonight

A system allowing school officials to collect unpaid debt by intercepting state income tax refunds will be up for the North Judson-San Pierre School Board’s approval tonight. Board members will vote on joining the Tax Refund Exchange and Compliance System, after generally agreeing to move ahead last month.

The school board is also expected to take action on a bullying reporting app, a lunch price proposal, and next year’s junior/senior high school student handbook. Members of the public will have a chance to weigh in on N.J.-S.P.’s continuous learning plan, and school officials will give updates on the COVID-19 response, building project, and Apple device lease.

Tonight’s North Judson-San Pierre School Board meeting starts at 5:30 CDT in the Central Office Board Meeting Room.
