Pulaski County has finalized the appointments of its new maintenance director and head custodian. Larry Weaver was appointed maintenance director by the county commissioners during a special meeting Tuesday, according to a post on the Pulaski County, Indiana, Government Facebook page. He’ll be paid $23.50 an hour, under the pay structure approved by the county council last week. Tammy Pack was appointed head custodian at $16 an hour.
The appointments are part of a larger restructuring that also cuts the number of part-time maintenance employees from four to two. The commissioners already voted to hire Weaver and Pack earlier this month, but at the time, their wages hadn’t been set, and the county council still had some questions about costs. In the meantime, the interim maintenance director resigned, leaving the department without an official leader.
The appointments officially take effect next Tuesday.
