Last month’s Winamac Town Park cleanup day has made a visible impact, according to Park Board President Chris Schramm. “There was a pile of stuff on the west side there by the courts, and that’s all picked up,” he commented during last week’s meeting.
Board Member Steve Miller added that the Boy Scouts worked hard during the event. Volunteers with the Pulaski County Tribe have helped clean out the area around the artesian well. Schramm also thanked Miller for helping to coordinate this year’s cleanup event.
