U.S. 421 will be down to one lane near the Kankakee River starting tomorrow. INDOT says flaggers will be directing traffic around NIPSCO utility work taking place between Starke County Road 500 South and LaPorte County Road 2400 South.
The lane closures are expected between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The work will continue through next Friday, June 25. INDOT encourages drivers to give themselves extra time.
