Winamac Park Board Asks Older Kids to Stay Off Toddler Playground

The Winamac Park Board is reminding residents that the toddler playground is for toddlers only. During last week’s meeting, Board President Chris Schramm stressed that the Town Park’s toddler playground is meant for kids age five and younger.

“I had to run a couple adults – not adults, children – because they were on those rocker things,” Schramm said. “They don’t understand that that’s limited to five-year-olds and below.”

Even on the larger playground, Board Member Steve Miller noted that there’ve been issues with teenagers using the equipment, so younger kids can’t play on it.
