The Knox Community School Corporation is making masks optional when students return to class.
Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart says masks will be encouraged on buses, according to draft minutes from Monday’s school board meeting. He also reportedly said the school corporation will not require students to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Knox will no longer offer a virtual learning option, other than classes offered through the Redskin Academy.
The full reopening plan was approved by the school board last month.
