Pulaski County nonprofits that provide human and social services have another chance to apply for funding help. The White County United Way says it’s gotten another COVID-19 Economic Relief Initiative grant for almost $205,000 to distribute to organizations in White, Jasper, and Pulaski counties.
Executive Director Nicole Jenkinson says the White County United Way is now taking applications for the first round of funding. Applications will continue to be accepted until November 10 or until all funding is used up. Funds have to be spent by the end of the year.
The COVID-19 Economic Relief Initiative grant comes from Indiana United Ways. It, in turn, got the money from the Lilly Endowment.
