The Pulaski County Prosecutor’s Office recently received the “It’s Not Easy Being Green” Honor Roll award for meeting or exceeding the state and federal average performance measures for collecting child support for families in the federal fiscal year 2020. This is the third consecutive award for the Pulaski County Prosecutor’s Office.
Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney Kelly Gaumer said her office reached the highest possible rating in four categories that the state uses to evaluate child support collection. Those categories include establishing support orders, enforcing current support orders, collecting back child support, and establishing paternity.
Gaumer noted that the COVID-19 pandemic presented many challenges which created lower collections than in previous years, but collections were still over $500,000 in child support for local families.
