Several summer projects are closing down prior to the start of the school year.
Superintendent Dan Zylstra said some HVAC work was done.
“The HVAC project should be completed before the first teacher work day,” said Zylstra. “We’ll enjoy air quality improvements that were funded by some of the federal stimulus dollars.”
Older carpet was replaced around the buildings, and repainted some surfaces. The Health Occupation Room was redone, and upgrades were done to the bus barn.
Teachers return August 9 while the first day of school for students is August 11. Meet the Teacher Night for all grades is August 10 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET.
