The Starke County Council members will open a public hearing tonight to talk about the 2022 budgets concerning County General, North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation, Koontz Lake Conservancy District, Starke County Airport, and Starke County Solid Waste.
Starke County Economic Development Foundation Executive Director Lisa Dan will be updating the council on the Foundation’s board make-up and the separation between the SCILL Center and the Starke County Economic Development Foundation.
Starke County EMS Director Travis Clary will discuss pay rates and raises, and the council will consider Jail CEDIT and Cumulative Capital Development Fund additional appropriations.
The council will be discussing an upcoming Office and Community Rural Affairs grant match in the amount of $25,000. The Starke County Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. CT tonight in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
