The Starke County Council members approved all 2022 budgets submitted during their budget adoption hearing Monday evening.
Starke County Auditor Rachel Oesterreich said all budgets were approved as advertised with no adjustments. A review of Starke County’s budget by officials from the Department of Local Government Finance may or may not result in reductions to the budget that takes effect January 1.
The total budget submitted by Starke County is about $17.6 million. The budget for North Judson-Pierre School Board is $12.8 million, Starke County Airport Authority is $1.4 million, Starke County Solid Waste District is $289,000, and the Koontz Lake Conservancy District is $440,000.
More information about those budgets can be found on the Indiana Gateway’s website.
