The Francesville Fall Festival will open its 53rd annual event today!
Today’s events include the Fire Department fish and chicken dinner at 4:30 p.m., the Tri-County Kickers and Guitars and Cadillacs at 6:30 p.m., Abe Lincoln impersonator at 7:45 p.m. and BINGO at 8:30 p.m. ET.
Saturday’s events include the Family Fun Run at 6 a.m., a live remote with WKVI’s Charlie Adams at 9 a.m., Little Nubbins Race at 9:30 a.m., kids games at 10 a.m., golf cart obstacle course at 11 a.m. at the grassy lot, bake contest judging at 12:30 p.m., the Nightshift band at 12:45 p.m., the Grand Marshal program at 1:45 p.m. and the parade at 2 p.m. ET. The festival bake auction will be held after the parade, followed by the Humanitarian Distribution Center’s chicken dinner is 4 p.m. ET, Kyle Hurd at 4:30 p.m., the Blue Holler Band at 6:30 p.m., the harvest dance at 8:30 p.m., and fireworks at dusk.
Sunday at the Francesville Fall Festival, the worship service is at 8:30 a.m., the Festival Pork Chop dinner is at 11 a.m., music on the street with Aaron Paulsen and the auto show are at noon, and the cornhole tournament, the Garden Tractor Pull and community entertainment are at 1 p.m.
Throughout the weekend there will be the “Flippenout” trampoline show, chicken bingo, food and craft vendors, the petting zoo all day Saturday, and carnival rides and games.
