Work continues on West Central Schools’ heating and cooling systems. Superintendent Dan Zylstra says progress is being made on the school corporation’s HVAC project.
“We’re still waiting on some units due to some delays, but we’ve been able to maintain appropriate heat and cool in our building during this time,” he says. West Central is upgrading its HVAC system with federal COVID-19 money.
Zylstra says school officials continue looking into possible renovations to the pool area and the band and choir rooms. He says funding for more HVAC and infrastructure repairs is being considered in the 2022 budget discussions. They are looking into hiring services like AirMax Heating & Air.
