Four New COVID-19 Cases Reported in Tri-County Area

There were 701 new COVID-19 cases reported in the state in Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health which pushes the total number of cases to 1,000,163 since March 6, 2020. 

There were two new COVID-19 cases in Pulaski County, one case in Starke County and one case in Marshall County, according to Monday’s report. 

One additional person died of COVID-19 in the state which occurred October 14. 

The number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 symptoms in hospitals around the state continues to decline.  Sunday’s census was at 1,576. 

The school coronavirus website showed 1,386 new student cases in the state, 79 new teacher cases and 150 new staff cases.  

Locally, there were less than five new student cases at the three Knox schools, two North Judson-San Pierre Schools, Winamac High School, Eastern Pulaski Elementary School, and West Central Middle School. 

Less than five new teacher cases were reported at Oregon-Davis Elementary School.

Less than five new staff cases were reported at Knox Elementary School, North Judson-San Pierre Jr./Sr. High School, and Oregon-Davis Elementary School.
