The fall installment of property taxes in Starke County is due Wednesday, November 10.
Taxpayers may make payments in the Starke County Treasurer’s Office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. CT. Payments may be made inside the office or left in the drop box outside the door on the north side of the Starke County Annex Building at 53 E. Mound Street.
Payments can also be made by mail with a postmark by November 10, or by calling the Treasurer’s Office at 574-772-9111 and paying by credit card where a processing fee may be assessed.
A late payment penalty of five percent will be assessed on top of any other delinquent amount after November 10, while a 10 percent penalty will be assessed for a previous delinquent amount or if the payment is made after December 10.
