The Starke County Council members will meet at 4 p.m. CT today where they will review a Rainy Day ordinance for the North Judson-San Pierre School Corporation. They will also talk more with Prosecutor Leslie Baker about an investigator position and review a transfer request from Purdue Extension.
Meanwhile, the Starke County Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. CT tonight where they will consider rezoning requests from the Redlin and Rentko families. They are looking to rezone several properties west of U.S. 35 in the Bass Lake area for a potential solar project.
A Koontz Lake resident will discuss an easement complaint and Clerk Bernadette Manuel will discuss a delegation of precinct boundary authority.
The commissioners are also expected to talk about the EMS Director position.
Both the Starke County Council and the Starke County Commissioners will meet in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex Building No. 1 at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
