Hannah Lueth has submitted her resignation as the Starke County EMA Director.
Starke County Council President Dave Pearman made the announcement during Monday afternoon’s special meeting. He said the biggest problem with her leaving the position is the fact that the county will not have a certified ADA coordinator.
Until the position is filled, Pearman and Council Vice President Brad Hazelton will be the acting EMA Directors.
Lueth was hired as the county’s EMA Director in May of this year.
