Thirteen New COVID-19 Cases Reported Locally

Thirteen new COVID-19 cases were reported in the tri-county area, according to Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health.  There were four new cases in Marshall County, eight new cases in Starke County and one new case in Pulaski County.  They were among 912 new cases reported statewide.

There were no new deaths listed in Monday’s update.

The number of patients with COVID-19 symptoms in hospitals has dropped to 1,314. 

In the updated school dashboard on the Indiana Department of Health’s coronavirus website, another 1,236 new student COVID-19 cases were reported in the state between August 16 to October 22, along with 79 teacher cases from August 16 to October 22, and 135 staff cases from July 15 to October 22.  

Locally, there were less than five new student cases at Oregon-Davis Junior/Senior High School and Elementary School.
