Eastern Pulaski School Board Ratifies Collective Bargaining Agreement

The Eastern Pulaski School Board ratified the collective bargaining agreement with the Eastern Pulaski Teachers Association Monday night.

Superintendent Dara Chezem said it included several changes.

“This is a two-year agreement that expands the salary scale to recognize additional credit hours and degrees, and increases the base starting salary to $40,000,” said Chezem.

Other highlights included an additional day of association leave to three days, and a teacher plus guest pass for all school events.

Chezem said the agreement also outlined insurance plans.
