It’s Giving Tuesday!
Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving held on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving each year to encourage philanthropy and celebrate generosity.
Representatives from the Starke County Community Foundation encourage residents to give to funds during the Giving Tuesday event today at the United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in North Judson from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. CT. A drive-thru option is also available. The Starke County Community Foundation has $15,000 to provide a $1 for $1 match for up to $500 per donor, per permanent endowment fund. The Community Foundation of Pulaski County is encouraging gifts to support four community aspirations including Thriving and Growing, Safe & Drug Free, Welcoming & Open Minded, and Forward Thinking Leadership. Giving Tuesday contributions may be conducted today online at www.cfopc.org/givingtuesday, or delivered to the office at 127 E. Pearl Street in Winamac.
