Knox City Council Holds Second Public Hearing on COVID-19 Grant

The Knox City Council members opened a second public hearing Tuesday night concerning the third round of state COVID-19 Response Program grant funds awarded to the city earlier this year.

The city received $200,000 in grant funds to assist small businesses with retention.

There were no public comments given during the meeting.

That money has already been spent, but Tuesday’s second public hearing on the matter was held as part of the formal process.

The grant funds assisted 25 small businesses in the City of Knox.
