Oregon-Davis School Board to Consider Raises for Non-Certified Staff

The Oregon-Davis School Board will discuss possible raises for Non-Certified staff members in an upcoming meeting.

The board members voted to approve the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the teachers during their October meeting which meant a $6,000 increase to the base pay for teachers for the 2021-2022 school year.  The board also moved staff to their current year experience on the salary schedule.

Superintendent Bill Bennett told the school board last week that the next step is to address Non-Certified staff members.

“We took care of our Certified teaching staff last board meeting and we all know that without these critical people we could not operate the school,” commented Bennett.  “I’ve got some ideas and we need to sit down and kind of go over it, and then I would like to hopefully get those approved in December and effective January 1.”

Bennett said he will schedule a work session meeting with the board to accomplish that goal.
