Another 1,276 people in the state have tested positive with COVID-19, according to Monday’s report from the Indiana Department of Health. There were nine more people Marshall County diagnosed with COVID-19, along with 12 people in Starke County and one person in Pulaski County.
There were no new COVID-19 deaths in Monday’s report.
The number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is trending upward. The census was at 1,376 on Sunday, November 14. It was at 1,226 the previous week.
The updated weekly school coronavirus dashboard showed 2,429 new student COVID-19 cases statewide from August 18 to November 12, 148 new teacher cases from August 27 to November 12, and 211 new staff cases statewide from September 30 to November 12.
Locally, there were less than five new student COVID-19 cases at Knox High School, Knox Middle School, Knox Elementary School, North Judson-San Pierre Jr./Sr. High School, Oregon-Davis Junior/Senior High School, Eastern Pulaski Elementary School, and West Central High School.
There were less than five new teacher COVID-19 cases at West Central Elementary School, and there were less than five new staff COVID-19 cases at Knox High School, North Judson-San Pierre Jr./Sr. High School, and North Judson-San Pierre Elementary School.
