The Starke County Council members will consider several requests when they meet tonight.
Starke County Sheriff’s Department Matron Pam McDonald will discuss the sheriff’s Retirement Fund, and transfer requests will be considered from Maintenance Director Jim Coad, Highway Superintendent Dan Dipert, Recorder Mandy Thomason, and from the Veterans Service Officer.
Additional funding requests will be considered from the Starke County Park Board and EMS Director Eric Wood. Prosecutor Leslie Baker will present a salary request for the paralegal position.
The council members will also consider an appointment to the Starke County Library Board, and approve the 2022 Salary Ordinance.
The Starke County Council will meet at 5:30 p.m. CT tonight in the ground floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex No. 1 building at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
