The Starke County Park Board members will be taking public comment on a proposed five-year Master Parks Plan when they meet tonight. The public session will begin at 5 p.m. CT in the ground floor meeting room at the Starke County Annex Building No. 1 at 53 E. Mound Street.
The board will continue with its regular meeting at 6 p.m. CT at the same location where the board members will review the 2022 budget, get an update on a logo, and receive information from County Attorney Marty Lucas concerning land deemed as the Koontz Lake Park.
Dock bids will be reviewed, as well as snow roller bids and paddle board bids. Camper payments will be discussed and Park Superintendent Mark Vendl will provide a report.
