Three roads in Hamlet are anticipated to be paved next week.
The town recently received Community Crossings Matching Grant funds in the amount of $75,000 to pave Pearl Street from Hamlet to Jefferson, Davis Street from Division to Jefferson, and Hamlet Street from Pearl to Terry. Crews from Milestone Contractors North will be doing the work.
Hamlet Clerk-Treasurer Kristina Pitts said affected homeowners in the area will be notified of when the work will begin.
