Several projects are ongoing at the West Central School Corporation with planned updates in discussion stages.
West Central School Superintendent Dan Zylstra presented an update to the board during last week’s meeting.
Zylstra commented, “Our long HVAC project is still working. There are some smaller mechanical things and fine tuning that’s happening, but we’re getting closer to the finish line. The decommissioned air handler is going to be demolished and removed over Christmas break. We are setting up more meetings to talk about band and choir room renovations and more input is being gathered on possible improvements to the pool.”
Additionally, Zylstra commented that a recent fundraiser organized by Athletic Director Richard Warren collected $1,000 for new weight room equipment.
