The Community Foundation of Pulaski County recently announced the recipient of the 2022 Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship winner.
Tanner Hampton of North Judson-San Pierre High School is this year’s recipient. Tanner is the son of John and Leslie Hampton. He plans to obtain a bachelor’s degree in medicine with the hopes of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.
To assist him with his education goals, the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship will provide full tuition support, required fees and an allocation of up to $900 per year for required books and equipment for four years at any eligible Indiana public or private nonprofit college or university.
Lilly Endowment Community Scholars are known for their community involvement, academic achievement, character and leadership. Hampton has participated in student council, National Honor Society, science and math bowls, and the Principal Student Advisor committee. He is also active in sports and other community involvement volunteer efforts.
